*When the driver’s door is opened (The driver’s door courtesy light switch : ON) with the key plate inserted in the ignition key cylinder (The key unlock warning switch : ON) under the ignition switch OFF (LOCK) condition, the main body ECU sends signals to the combination meter through CAN communication. The meter computer judges the signals to sound the multi buzzer intermittently in order to warn the driver that the ignition key has not been removed.
*The buzzer stops when the ignition switch is turned ON, the driver’s door is closed or the key plate is pulled out.
